Slide your weights toward the scoring zones at the far end. Land in the deep zones, knock your opponents out, and be the side sitting closest when the round ends. First to the target score wins.
- 1
Take turns sliding
Players (or teams) take turns sliding their weights down the board toward the scoring zone at the far end. In doubles, teammates stand at opposite ends and slide back and forth.
- 2
Aim for the high zones
The far end is divided into scoring zones β the deeper the zone, the more points. Get your weight to stop in a scoring zone without sliding off the end.
- 3
Knock them off
You can bump opponents' weights out of scoring zones β or off the board entirely β and nudge your own into better spots. Strategy matters as much as touch.
- 4
Score the round
After all weights are slid, only the side with weight(s) closest to the far end scores. Count the zone value of each of that side's scoring weights β the other side scores nothing that round.
- 5
Play to the target
Keep playing rounds until one side reaches the agreed target (commonly 15 or 21). That side wins the match.
